Research methods refer to the tools and techniques for collecting data, making inferences, explanations, and predictions.
Research methodology refers to the theory of research methods, involving the basic assumptions, logic, and principles of the method. Therefore, research method is about how, and research methodology is about what and why. In the third chapter of the paper, the general arrangement is to write about research methodology. Students not only need to explain what tools or techniques the research will use to collect and interpret data, but also explain why these methods are used.
