Statistical Analysis
Many academic studies adopt a quantitative research orientation. Students must have knowledge of statistical analysis and the ability to operate statistical software such as SPSS to successfully complete quantitative research. Many students lack statistical training, are not familiar with the principles of various statistical analysis methods such as t-test and regression analysis, and do not know how to choose appropriate statistical techniques to test research hypotheses. The “Hong Kong Thesis Guidance Centre” provides students with statistical analysis services to assist students in analysing research hypotheses, selecting appropriate statistical methods, and operating statistical software to output statistical results. The “Hong Kong Thesis Guidance Centre” can also assist in using structural equation modelling (Structural Equation Modelling) software and econometrics software such as Stata to verify more complex research models.
